About the position

We at Perido are now looking for a Test Engineer for our client, a world-leading provider of transport solutions that, together with its customers and partners, is driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. Since testing takes place in vehicles, it is mandatory for all test engineers to be on-site every day at the company's headquarters in Södertälje.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Test Engineer, you will be responsible, together with your team, for ensuring the quality of the engine control system and aftertreatment system software for the powertrain control system. The group consists of test developers who write test cases for system testing of the software and test engineers who execute the test cases in the trucks, buses, and industrial engines.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform safety tests, functionality tests, and manual tests of the engine software in trucks, buses, and industrial engines
• Document test results and deviations identified during testing
• Work on reviewing specifications and analysis
• Test OBD legal requirements for the US market
• Work on continuous improvements

Your qualities

Qualifications:

• Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, or similar
• C, CE driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Knowledge of embedded systems in vehicles
• D driver's license and extensive experience driving trucks and buses

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for 12 months, with a chance of extension. Immediate start.
